  • What is Universe Writers?
    Universe Writers is a content creation service provider that connects marketers, website owners, students, agencies, and individuals that need content with professionals and experienced freelance writers who produce great content. We make it easy for people to find new writing opportunities, build relationships with clients, and grow their freelance writing careers.
  • How do I provide clients with revisions or edits?
    To submit a revision, log into your dashboard, find the article in the ‘My Content’ section. Click “Edit” next to it. On the page, you’ll be able to upload a new file. Select the revised file on your computer, upload it, and the system will immediately send a notification message to the client that their revision is complete and available.
  • What type of projects do you offer?
    We offer almost all forms of writing, including website copy, article and blog post, press releases, white paper, product descriptions, email newsletters and assay.
  • How many revisions can a client request?
    Clients can request as many revisions as they require till they feel satisfied.
  • How do I get more projects?
    Projects are assigned to writers based on several criteria, including their specializations, feedback ratings, and claim rates. If you consistently get positive ratings from clients or a specific client choose to work with you consistently, we will prioritize you as their favored writer.
  • I’m having an issue with my project, and the client is not online responding/not responding. What should I do?
    If you’re unable to communicate with your client, kindly reach out to the admin directly from your dashboard.
  • How much time do I have to finish a project once I assigned?
    It depends on the volume of the project and its requirements. You can discuss this with the client. A client may ask for content to be expedited, but you can turn down expedited projects from the beginning if you cannot complete them on the client’s prefered date. Don’t forget that you must send the written content to the quality assurance team 24hrs before the deadline, for them to check its accuracy and run it on Copyscape to confirm the uniqueness of what you’ve written before sending it to the client.
  • When do I receive my payment?
    You’ll get paid for every job well-done every two weeks, as we make our payout twice a month, i.e. on the 7th and 21st of every month. For example, all projects completed between January 7th and 21st will be paid on the 7th of February, and the ones completed between the 21st and 7th of January will be received on the 21st of February.
  • I need help, what do I do?
    We’re just a chat or email away, if you have any questions or concerns. We’ll take care of everything.
  • How long does it take to have my work edited or reviewed?
    Our editors will make their best efforts to review and edit your draft as soon as it is provided. Depending on the job deadline. Our editors and proofreaders have 1-business day each to review your work and provide feedback if needed.
  • How do I sign up for a writer account?
    Before you can be approved as a writer on our site, you need to for these basic steps: 1 Complete a short form 2 Pass a quiz 3. Submit a  writing sample.
  • Why can’t I contact a customer directly or post contact information?
    By using Universe Writers’ website, you agree to the Terms and Conditions of this platform. We operate marketing and services that bring writers and customers together in an arena that benefits both parties. Writers win because they have a place to market their expertise with no up-front fees. Customers win because they have a place to buy quality content. Bypassing our system and posting contact information to our customers is grounds for getting your account suspended or even disabled. If a customer does contact you outside of universewriters.com in any way due to your association with this platform, you should instruct the customer of the Terms and Conditions and request he or she works with you through this website.
  • Can I specialize in just one writing category?
    Yes, we have numerous writing categories and you’re free to choose to write in your area of specialization.
  • What should I do if I cannot finish a project?
    If you cannot complete a project, please contact our support team 36hrs before the deadline, as we will need to inform the client and reassign the task.
  • Why did you suspend or disable my account?
    We could suspend or disable your account if you plagiarize content, fail to submit content on time, try to communicate with customers outside Universe Writers platform or go against any of our rules. In order to ensure a steady flow of work for our writers, we employ 2 warnings for any writer who falls into to regulate our platform and maintain client satisfaction. If you accumulate two warnings, your account will be suspended, and you won’t be able to claim new projects until the suspension period ends or your account get disabled, and you won’t be able to log in again.
  • How do I communicate with my client?
    To communicate with your client please message them directly through the in-app messenger on your dashboard.
  • How do I receive payment?
    We will make payment based on words count, and the price will be attached to every project’s requirement when sending to you. So, you will be able to know what you’re taking before you start any project. All writer payments are sent through PayPal or Payoneer. For an easy payment process, kindly register with an email attached to your PayPal or Payoneer account. Your first and last name must also match with your Payoneer or Paypal account.
  • What should I do if my payout is incorrect?
    Please reach out to the Billing/Sales department directly from your dashboard with the screenshots or send an email to billing@universewriters.com and our support team will get back to you.
  • Does Universe Writers Team edit my work or does the client?
    All Universe Writers projects go through an internal editing and proofreading process. However, it is important that all writers proofread their work and ensure that all jobs follow our Style Guide before submitting. We recommend running your work through a program like Grammarly, Hemingway, or ProWritingAid to check for any spelling, grammar, or spacing errors before you submit your draft. Clients can request revisions or edits from you as the writer. Once content has been finalized and approved by the client, their internal team can make changes to the copy as needed and they retain 100 percent Copyright.
